This one kind of non-formal education project for the dropout children

Objectives of the project:

To reduce the number of the Out-of-School children through improved access, quality and efficiency in primary education, especially for the disadvantaged children, in support of GoB’s national EFA goals.

Activities of the project:

• Operate School program
• Develops linkage activities through different service providers,
• Guardian Meetings,
• Community Meeting,
• Formation of CMC
• Monthly CMC meeting conduction
• Use of local resources,
• Involve community peoples in planning-implementation-monitoring and evaluation,
• Meeting with LGI,
• Provide stipend to the students
• Provide school uniform to the students
• Advocacy with different High School to ensuring enrollment.

Monitoring of the school:

The project 11 members of centre management committee (CMC) of the locality look after the center activities.

Project Locations: 10 Union of Thakurgaon Sadar Upazila under Thakurgaon district.

No. of Project Participants: 3000 dropout children.

Project duration: January 2010 to December 2013.
