Objectives of the project:

To improve consciousness of 750 poor families on their socio economic condition, local resources, legal and human rights, gender equity and environmental hazards to improve their ability to decision making towards better sustainable livelihoods

Activities of the project:

• Awareness building and skill development of the group members.
• Social awareness building,
• Skill development on poultry rearing, livestock rearing,
• Implementation of sanitation,
• Provide marketing support,
• Established networking with local resources,
• Promotion of school attendance etc.
• Vaccinator Development
• Arrange vaccination camp
• Linkage development with different service providers.

Project Locations: 02 Union of Thakurgaon Sadar Upazila under Thakurgaon district.

No. of Project Participants: 750 poor families.

Project duration: January 2004 to March 2005.
