This is one kind of Advocacy project for the ultra-poor of Baliadangi Upazila.

Objectives:

To improve livelihood of the ultra-poor through advocacy with the richer societies.

Activities of the project:

• Arrange Mass theatre,
• Arrange Mass research,
• Conduct community meeting,
• Arrange School Quiz,
• Arrange Union Workshop,
• Formation Imam Forum
• Provide Skill Training to the beneficiaries
• Asset transfer
• Assist to develop business plan to the ultra-poor.

Project Locations: Charol, Pareya, Borobari, Amjankhor, Vanor, Boro Polasbari, Dawshu, Dhontola Union of Baliadangi Upazila under Thakurgaon District.

No. of Project Participants: 1750 poor families.

Project duration: March 2006 to December 2008.
